JCrew crushes

I swear to you I ve been trying to post a few great pictures I have from the latest purchases Ive made and new outfits I have waiting for the Spring days (today the sun came out and its kinda warm...but Im still not buying it).But Sienna is been at home for the last 2 weeks (nothing major, just a small cold that wont leave this family alone) and somehow I havent been able to do anything. ANYTHING. 

On the plus side that little girl is already walking and stealing hearts at Cruise speed. 

Can you believe she's 1 year old today? 

Soooo...Im leaving you today with a few JCREW instant crushes I found on their website and that make me want to go shopping right this second. 

Because I dont have enough clothes already. Right...?

Os aseguro que llevo días intentando colgar las fotos de mis últimas compras y de nuevos outfits para la Primavera (hoy ha salido el sol aunque no me fío ni un pelo), Pero Sienna lleva dos semanas en casa (nada grave, un costipado que se ha encariñado con la familia) y no he conseguido tener un momento libre. Ni uno solo. Por el lado positivo, la chiquitina ya anda y roba corazones como una experta. Os podéis creer que hoy cumple un añito?

Así que a falta de pan...os dejo con mis ultimos descubrimientos de JCrew que me tienen el corazón robado...como si necesitara más cosillas de la marca. Verdad? Esto es una pregunta retórica. Nunca se tiene suficientes bellezones de JCREW...

The dresses are exquisite and the coats are looking extremely cosy, especially considering its been raining for the last 6 days and the temperatures dropped to Artic levels.

I am THIS close to moving to Bahamas.

Atlantic and Pacific blogger Blair Eadie makes everything look good.

I read an interview once and what I liked the most is how she mentioned she worked in a casual enviroment but she suited up anyway, because it was "her way". I'd love to follow her example and dress up a bit more, wouldnt you? 

So anyway, Ive put together a small collection of pictures from her wearing jeans, because no matter how she styles them, she looks wonderful aaaaall the time.

Blair Eadie, la chica detrás de Atlantic and Pacific hace que cualquier cosa  luzca de manera impecable. Leí una entrevista suya una vez donde mencionaba que en su trabajo el código de vestuario era bastante relajado y que no obstante, a ella la conocían porque le gustaba arreglarse bastante más que a la mayoría. Es una actitud que me gustaría seguir, me parece un ejemplo magnífico de cómo afianzar tu personalidad a través de la moda.

In Barcelona its a holiday so Im spending the day with my two loves walking and eating yummy food (chocolate indeed)

Unas cuantas frases brillantes para pasar el día.

Aquí en Barcelona es fiesta así que estoy de paseo primaveral con mis dos amores y vamos a comer algo rico rico (usease que lleve chocolate...) para disfrutar de la Pascua.

Summer dress

Sienna woke up very early today so Im writing this without even knowing if its gonna be sunny or rainy yet.

But lets consider the following facts:

1. Its Sunday

2. We are having chocolate croissants for breakfast

3. I finally found my old camera (brace yourselves pictures are coming)

4. We plan to go on a Spring walk and I want to wear this cutie. 

Shouldnt the sun come up as an act of courtesy? 

My thoughts exactly. 

Sienna se ha levantado muy pronto esta mañana así que aún no puedo ver si va a ser un día soleado o vamos a seguir la tónica general de la semana de lluvias y frío. Pero si consideramos lo siguiente:

1. Es domingo

2. Vamos a desayunar nuestros croissants de chocolate.

3. Por fin he rescatado mi super cámara reflex buena. 

4. Queremos irnos de paseo y quería estrenar este precioso vestido de Mango.

No os parece que el sol debería asomar y brillar como un poseso?

Shoes and flowers

Shoes and flowers, ladies and gentlemen. 

Two things that lift up my spirit after three days of rain and a few blackouts at home (picture me with the stroller going up to a 4th floor...glamourous, right?). And since its Saturday, Im meeting my friend Lola for lunch and we'll be walking around las Ramblas and el Borne. Shopping might or might not be included. 

Flores y zapatos, señoras. dos cosas que me suben el ánimo después de estos tres días de lluvia y de apagones en casa (si queréis la imagen del glamour imaginadme con el carrito subiendo cuatro pisos para llegar a casa). Y ya que es sábado y he quedado para comer con mi amiga Lola y caminar por Las Ramblas y por el Borne, puede que incluyamos (o no) un poco de shopping...ahí lo dejo.

I found out about this Etsy store a few days ago while browsing for dresses inspired in the 50's.

I have a thing for wasp waists lately and this Moscow based brand combines femininity and chicness with simple lines and exquisite silhouettes (think Mad Men + Victoria Beckham). 

They are not exactly budget friendly (a dress is  about 300-400 euros) but for what I have read in their feedback, they customize every piece to the customer's instructions, so it might be worth the investment. 

Encontré esta tienda en Etsy hace unos días, buscando vestidos que estuvieran inspirados en los años 50's. Últimamente soy adicta a las faldas lápiz, y esta marca basada en Moscú combina feminidad con líneas sencillas y siluetas exquisitas (una especie de Mad Men con toques de Victoria Beckham). No son diseños baratos y sus vestidos rondan los 300-400 euros pero por lo que he visto de las valoraciones de sus clientes, hacen cada pieza personalizada según las instrucciones del comprador, así que quizás vale la pena la inversión.
